Your Christmas campaigns: success in four steps

The four ready-made Christmas campaigns, when to send each one, and how to set them up from the templates

The week before Christmas fills itself. The money is won or lost in the three weeks before it, so these four campaigns push bookings into late November and early December first, then keep gift cards selling right through to Christmas Eve.

The wording is already written for you. Each campaign sits ready in Campaign Templates with its text and its email built, so all you have to do is fill in your salon's details and set the date.

The four campaigns

  • VIP Christmas invite, send in the first week of October. Your most loyal clients get first pick before anyone else, which fills your quieter early weeks with the people most likely to say yes.

  • Christmas diary opens to all, send in the second week of November. The big one. It opens Christmas to everyone and gives them a reason to take an early date rather than waiting for the busy final fortnight.

  • Christmas gift guide, send in the first week of December. Once Black Friday is over gift card sales usually drop off a cliff. This puts your gift cards and gift sets in front of clients just as they start shopping.

  • Last minute gift cards, send in mid December. There is a whole group of people who still have not bought a present. A gift card they can buy in two minutes is exactly what they need.

If one of those dates has already passed, send it as soon as you can and keep the rest on schedule.

Instructions

For each campaign:

  1. Go to Marketing -> Campaign Templates -> click 'Use Template'

  2. Once inside, check the working under the SMS and Email Template. Fill in any fields with [square brackets] (you can leave the {{curly ones}}, we will fill this for you!) with the specifics for your salon.

  3. If you are happy with everything, click Schedule in the bottom right and set for the date given above for each campaign.

You can do all 4 campaigns in one sitting and they will send out as each date comes by, managing your diary and Christmas sales for you in the background.
