Your New Email Account

Step 1 – First Login (Required)

Before setting up on any device, please log in once via Webmail to change your temporary password.

Webmail Login: https://webmail.thesalon.app/login

  1. Enter your email address and temporary password.

  2. You will be prompted to set a new secure password.

  3. Use this new password for all future logins and device setups.

Webmail (Browser Access)

iPhone / iPad

  1. Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account

  2. Enter:

    • Name: Your name

    • Email: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

    • Description: e.g. Salon App Mail

  3. Incoming Mail Server:

    • Host Name: imap.qboxmail.com

    • Username: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

  4. Outgoing Mail Server:

    • Host Name: smtp.qboxmail.com

    • Username: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

  5. Ensure SSL is enabled:

    • IMAP Port: 993

    • SMTP Port: 465

Android

  1. Open Settings → Accounts → Add Account → Email (or in Gmail app → Add account → Other)

  2. Enter your email address and new password

  3. Choose Manual Setup → IMAP

  4. Incoming Mail (IMAP):

    • Server: imap.qboxmail.com

    • Security: SSL/TLS

    • Port: 993

    • Username: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

  5. Outgoing Mail (SMTP):

    • Server: smtp.qboxmail.com

    • Security: SSL/TLS

    • Port: 465

    • Username: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

Mac (Mail app)

  1. Open Mail → Add Account → Other Mail Account

  2. Enter:

    • Name: Your name

    • Email Address: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

  3. If prompted, configure manually:

    • Account Type: IMAP

    • Incoming Mail: imap.qboxmail.com

    • Outgoing Mail: smtp.qboxmail.com

    • Username: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

  4. Check server settings:

    • IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)

    • SMTP Port: 465 (SSL)

Outlook

  1. Open Outlook → File → Add Account

  2. Enter your email address and click Connect

  3. If prompted, choose IMAP and enter:

    • Incoming Mail: imap.qboxmail.com | Port: 993 | SSL/TLS

    • Outgoing Mail: smtp.qboxmail.com | Port: 465 | SSL/TLS

    • Username: [insert email address here]

    • Password: Your new password

  4. Let Outlook test the settings and click Finish

Password Tips

  • Minimum of 8 characters

  • Use uppercase and lowercase letters

  • Include at least one number and one symbol
