How to Upload a Banner image and Logo to Personalise Online Booking
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
From the GENERAL tab Select Logo. Select a file and upload (recommended file size 150x150px. PNG and JPEG format only)
Select Cover Photo. Select a file and upload (recommended file size 16:9. PNG and JPEG format only)
How to add social media and website links to Online Booking
Your website and social media links are all active in your online booking profile so clients can navigate to them directly from your profile.
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
Enter Website URL in Website*
From the GENERAL tab go to Social.
Enter Instagram URL*
Enter Facebook URL*
Enter Twitter / X URL*
Select SAVE
*Leave blank if not required
Select Save.
How to add Salon Opening Hours in Online Booking:
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
From the GENERAL tab go to Salon Opening Hours
Check days which are open
Enter start and finish time (use 24hr clock eg 18:00)
Select SAVE
*Please note these hours will only display in your online booking profile they WILL NOT update team rotas.
How to Enter Trading Address in Online Booking:
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
From the GENERAL tab go to Salon Address
Enter contact details
Select SAVE
*Address, phone and email will be displayed as links. This information is also displayed on receipts.
Activate Online Booking
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
Select the BOOKINGS tab and scroll to Online Booking
Toggle on Active
If activating for a future date Toggle on Available from and enter the required date.
Select Save
Online Booking URL / Link
To access your online booking URL / link use the following steps:
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
Select the BOOKINGS tab and scroll to Online Booking
Go to URL and Right Click and Copy to share
Time Slots in Online Booking
Available Time Slots can be added to ensure that only start times are reflected at the same interval to your diary settings. EG: if your diary is available in 15 minute slots then select 15 Minute Slots from the drop down. If you use a 5 or 10 minute diary slot these too can be selected.

Select the BOOKINGS tab and scroll to Online Booking
Go to Available Time Slots and choose your required selection.
Select Save
Optimal Gap Between Bookings in Online Booking
The Optimal Gap Between Bookings is an option to ensure that online bookings are made only at efficient intervals. Typically the optimal booking gap would be the same amount of time that you book for your most frequent service. For example: if your most frequently booked service is 45 minutes long then you would enter 45 minutes as your Optimal Gap Between Bookings. If you have no appointments between 9am and 11 am a prospective client will see 9am, 9.45am and 10.15am and not be able to book an appointment at 9,15am with would leave you with a 15 minute gap which would be harder to fill than a 45 minute gap.
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
Select the BOOKINGS tab and scroll to Online Booking
Go to OPTMAL GAP BETWEEN BOOKINGS and choose your required selection from the drop down list.
Select Save
Confirmation Message in Online Booking
This message will be shown to your clients before they complete their online booking. It can be used to display a message if your choice. Typical usage can be for a courtesy message, cancellation policies and terms and conditions.
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
Select the BOOKINGS tab and scroll to Online Booking
Go to CONFIRMATION MESSAGE
Type or paste required content. Longer form content will be display with a "read more" link.
Select Save
Cancellation Policy in Online Booking
A cancellation policy will restrict a client from cancelling an appointment online within a specified timeframe. Options include 1 hour, 24 hours, 48 and 72 hours.
Select Settings from the menu (on the left of your screen)
Select the BOOKINGS tab and scroll to Online Booking
Go to CANCELLATION POLICY
Select required timeframe from the dropdown list

Deposits or Booking Fees in Online Booking
NB: Deposits require Salon App to be connected to an active Stripe Account

Online Deposit / Booking Fee Conditions
Use these settings to configure which clients are required to pay a deposit / booking fee.
Options include:
All Clients (or)
1. New Client
2. History of no-shows and/or cancellations
Last booking was cancelled
Last booking was a no-show
Online Booking Conditions
Deposits / booking fees are requested when bookings meet a criteria which can be set as a required value and or time allocation. For example: if your required value is set to £50 and or 60 minutes any appointment being made which exceeds either £50 in value or 60 Minutes in duration will be triggered to pay a deposit.
The deposit of booking fee can be either a fixed amount (a minimum of £5) or a percentage of the total service bill. For example if a fixed fee were set at £10 then a client booking a £60 service would be required to pay £10 to complete the booking. If the percentage were set to 20% then the same value service would require a £12 deposit / booking fee.
To Activate Online Booking. Deposits / Booking Fees

For online select ONLINE BOOKINGS ONLY
Select Online Bookings Only or All Bookings
In Online Deposit Conditions Select All Clients or
New Clients, History of No-Show / Cancellations, Last Booking was Cancelled or Last Booking was a No-Show.
Under Booking Conditions Enter Required Value and or Required Duration
Under deposit enter Fixed Amount (minimum £5) or Percentage

How to block a client from booking online?
Go to Settings -> Go to Bookings
Scroll to 'Blocked clients' -> click Block Client
Search for the email you want to block -> Once blocked, this client will see a message on the online booking screen asking them to contact the salon to make their booking.
Open the advanced settings with the black arrow
Toggle Available Online, and enter a message for clients (prompt) if required. Select follow up services if required (typically used for technical colour services). Repeat for all required services and then select Save.
To activate team members, select Team from the navigation bar. Select first team member to be made active online and select See More
Toggle Available Online and then Save. Repeat for all required team members
To access your online booking link, go to Settings from the navigation bar and select Bookings, scroll to Online Booking, and make Active.
Your online booking URL will be shown which you can copy and paste and add to your website and social medias, and can also be sent to your clients to let them know the service is available.
Your available time slots are the denominations of times you would like to be offered ie 15 minute slots means your shortest service is 15 mins.
Your optimum gap between bookings is the amount of time you would ideally leave between each booking so as to avoid slots left between bookings that you cannot fill with other appointments easily.
